What is this IRC thing?
IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. It is multiple servers that connect to eachother and provide the link between users to chat. The more in depth explanation can be found here.
Why did you create Talkative IRC?
Because I think that IRC is a wonderful thing. Most existing software to connect to IRC is either very hard to use or lacks features even a beginner would want. This gap is what I try to fill with Talkative IRC.
What's up with all the updates?
Since I've implemented the error notification system I get reports whenever an error occurs. One or two is usually enough for me to go bug hunting, and fix whatever caused the crash or error. I issue an update as soon as the new version is ready, that's why there are so frequent updates. Things will probably (hopefully) slow down once Talkative IRC gets more mature.
Do you accept donations?
No I don't. It's not that I don't need them, but Talkative IRCs goal is to go commercial somewhere in the future. If you want to save a buck you can always send me a feature suggestion to make you eligible for a free full version when that day comes.
